Analysis of the Spatial and Temporal Evolution Characteristics and Driving Forces of the Surface Thermal Environment in Lanzhou City

The urban heat island effect is becoming more and serious due to the continuous expansion of cities in China, improving thermal environment an important prerequisite for creating a livable city. Based on Landsat TM images 2001 2011 TIRS 2021, this study investigated spatial temporal distribution evolution characteristics Lanzhou City last 20 years by using radiation equation conduction method invert surface temperature City. results show following: (1) range medium zone spreads “extended” style from 2021 until it covers whole main area, secondary high low temperatures decrease, corresponding increases over large area. (2) average area its arable land, forest, grassland, water within reaches 10–25 °C, decreases 9.56% years, with high-temperature decreasing 42.32%. (3) proportion bodies impermeable surfaces are dominant factors differentiation temperature, interaction synergy various influencing affect temperature.
